Workers may have their shift for a particular day changed in advance
New around the clock shifts will be initiated at the Halewood plant as from Tuesday (August 14, 2012). The 4,500-strong staff at the Liverpool site will work in three shifts, to manufacture the Range Rover Evoque and updated Land Rover Freelander 2. The site’s owner, Jaguar Land Rover, has already put up the workforce at Halewood to its highest in 20 years. Earlier this year the firm ran a recruitment drive to hire 1,000 new engineers, production operators and supervisors.
WinTA Enterprise is the multi-user, networked working rules, Fire Roll Call, Job Booking and Job Costing system from Time and Attendance North West intended for larger companies. The world class, top-of-the-range system can store up to 2000 employees on a single Time & Attendance clock. There are numerous extra features on the system to take into account diversity with working rules between different organisations. This includes Shift Swapping, where workers may have their shift for a particular day changed in advance.
