The Cumbria County Council has just revealed fresh new plans to carry out road maintenance and improvement works between the Mockerkin south junction and the Dean/Pardshaw crossroads, the total investment amounting to £500K.
Most of the money involved will go towards carriageway resurfacing and structural maintenance on this route. In order to help things get around more smoothly, the works will be divided into two different phases, but a break will be taken for the Easter bank holiday in order to avoid unwanted congestion.
