Mobile App allows workforce colleagues to check their flexitime balances
Jobs will be created in Lancashire (at BAE sites in Samlesbury and Warton) since the majority of the building work of 22 Hawk jets will be taking place there. In the next few years 73 more employees could be offered transfers to plants in Lancashire under a new BAE 200 jobs programme. Unite’s Ian Waddell said: “BAE’s strategy of transferring Hawk… to Lancashire was predicated on them winning this Saudi order, so it will not save any of the jobs currently under threat.”
Time and Attendance North West has the latest in Mobile Self Service Module iPhone Applications for state-of-the-art clocking. The App offers many excellent features, allowing workforce colleagues to clock IN or OUT, request a period of absence, view their remaining leave entitlements, recent clocking history and current flexitime balance and book ON or OFF production jobs. Mobile clockings and job bookings, once submitted, are transferred to the central .NET application. The employee’s position is also ascertained from their iPhone’s location.
