Smart cards allow clocking in at under a quarter of a second
Liverpool City Council has cut 48 out of the 74 senior management jobs at the local authority. City Council leader Joe Anderson said the authority faces a deficit of £1bn over the next four years due to government cuts. Mr Anderson added: "I have always said that when it comes to cutbacks, they should start at the top.” He continued: "The scale of the cuts will affect every service we provide, and every penny we have must be spent on protecting essential services and not wasted on needless bureaucracy.”
Based on Merseyside, Time and Attendance North West smart card clocking systems are fully compatible with all working hours regulations and provide an easy and cost-effective solution to your clocking issues. The cards use very reliable Radio Frequency technology which enables workers to clock in under a quarter of a second. Fingerprint recognition systems are also available to compliment the smart cards, providing a two-fold identification process for added security. These provide irrefutable identification of an employee and prevent buddy clockings.
