Turnstiles generate revenue and can operate indoors and outdoors
The news that Manchester City Council is closing 18 out of its 19 public toilets has prompted Richard Chisnell, the British Toilet Association chairman, to reply: “The argument isn’t about demanding to Manchester ‘you must have facilities’ in the Victorian scheme of things. Of course there are toilet facilities in Manchester’s shopping centres – and the Trafford Centre wins Loo Of The Year awards every year – it’s fantastic.” He continued: “But outside of the shopping centres, in public parks and coastal areas, we must have proper toilet provision.”
A way of ensuring this provision in public areas and tourist spots is a toilet turnstile, one of many products from Time and Attendance North West and our associates. Turnstiles generate revenue and have the added benefit of preventing people from wandering into the toilets as they now have to pay for the privilege. Available in half height or full height models to suit your needs, the turnstiles feature high traffic volumes; prestige access points; and can operate in interior and exterior installations.
